Background Context
Miles Underwood was born on January 9, 1984. He had an older twin, Max, who was born a few minutes prior to him. The twins were born to Jenny and Darius Underwood. Darius was a construction worker who was modifying issues with the Golden Gate Bridge. He got laid off in 1987 and the family underwent a severe financial crisis and had to give up one of their twins. They flipped a coin and it landed tails, so they chose their youngest twin, Miles, up for adoption. Miles was sent to the local orphanage and remained their until 1990. A young Italian couple, the Balotelli's, adopted Miles into the family. Miles was well cared for in their families, but never knew each other. They both graduated in 2002. Miles graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006 with a bachelor of information technology and attended their masters program in IT as well. He also was running later in the day he saw the first episode and came up with the name Miles. Later during spring break, he saw The Internship again. The characters goal was to achieve an internship at Google which was wear Max Underwood worked at. Arvin is also a die hard Chargers fan and wants to go to a game, home or away, so that played into the story. His friend Matt Rogers was humming "Evil Twin" by Eminem one April morning during his 1st period and it further inspired him. In summary, these ideas cohesively accentuated his idea and he was able to expound it to form Miles Apart.
